The role: Head of SMB Marketing, Czech Republic & Slovakia - Prague

As a Marketing manager, you are a fully dedicated business leader, shaping the future of one of our many Google products. Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (AdWords, AdSense, DoubleClick, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the voice of the product and help it grow a loyal consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. The role enables you to shape the product development process, organize product launches from beginning to end and form future marketing strategy.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the B2B advertisers acquisition strategy and lead the team to recruit SME advertisers and drive revenue for Google in Czech Republic and Slovakia.
  • Plan B2B activities and run awareness, education initiatives which have a positive impact on Google's brand.
  • Develop creative assets and tools and manage agencies.
  • Manage the Czech and Slovakian advertisers acquisition budget to execute ROI efficient recruitment programs.
  • Track and analyse marketing programs to optimise overall results and plan campaign and channel mix.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Masters degree (MBA or MA). In lieu of degree, relevant skills or equivalent experience
  • Must speak and write Czech/Slovak & English fluently and idiomatically.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in product marketing, direct marketing, marketing program management and call centres.
  • Strong analytical skills and proven track record of managing ROI campaigns and measurements.
  • Understanding of the search, online advertising or web publishing market.
  • Strong interest in analysing products, customers and market dynamics and aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and strong organisational skills
