The role: Enterprise Regional Channel Manager CEE/CIS
The Channel teams main role is to recruit, process, motivate, and collaborate with Google channel members to "pull" sales of all Google Enterprise products (Google Apps, Google Cloud Services, Google Search & Google Geospatial) in the region.
You will work with the regional leads to define and execute the channel plan taking into account local needs and the overall global channel programmes. The channel is a fundamental part of our go to market strategy and you will work with the sales teams to ensure we achieve our overall goals for the region. The role is very much a player manager position where you will be expected to define and execute the plan whilst also having specific responsibilities for strategic partner relationships and their measurable success.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, build and manage the right set of partners in Central & Eastern Europe (including CIS countries) with matching selling, deploying & integration skills through capacity planning, business plans, relationship development as well as marketing and enablement activities.
- Define and execute the channel strategy in conjunction with the regional plan to ensure the overall goals of the region are achieved.
- Create processes to support partners and agree and manage joint goals across Medium & Large Enterprises. Be responsible for the revenue contribution from the channel, the quality and breadth of our partnerships and the mutual success of joint customers
- Meet quarterly sales goals by recruiting and managing an optimum balance of partners (SI's, VAR's etc.) across the entire range of Enterprise offerings.
- Drive incremental revenue from partners, manage partner pipeline and ensure close alignment with the Large Customer Sales teams, Channel Sales Engineers and Deployment Teams. Support and drive partner marketing activities and maximise ROI of Marketing Development Funding (MDF).
Minimum qualifications:
- University degree in Computer Science or Business. In lieu of degree relevant skills and experience.
Preferred qualifications:
- Demonstrated achievement in channel sales in the relevant markets and previous experience selling enterprise solutions is essential.
- Knowledge of designing and running a successful enterprise channel and a perspective on the requirements of building a channel to deliver cloud computing based solutions.
- A good understanding of the role in a traditional IT sales organisation and an appreciation of how this may differ in relation to taking cloud computing solutions to market.
- Available for frequent travel around Europe to meet with channel members and customers.
- Fluent in English with knowledge of Polish and/or Russian is good to have.
