Schwan's Home Delivery Service was created in 1952. Since then the company has delivered millions of delicious, restaurant quality meals to homes across America, from shrimp to sherbet, tortellini to egg rolls. These days, many of the company’s orders are placed through their website. Not surprisingly, they turned to Google to help them tell the world about their service and drive new customers to Schwans.com

How they did it

Working with their agency, Razorfish, and their account team at Google, Schwan's is mixing Google search, mobile and display advertising to make sure that they reach new customers wherever they are online.

When users are looking for healthy recipes or quick meal ideas, contextual targeting on the Google Display Network helps Schwan's reach a busy mom or dad: home delivery from Schwan’s sure looks like the easier option! By using colorful image ads, they also make sure their brand really stands out from the crowd.

Schwan’s is also continuing to fine tune their search advertising. They're using geo-targeting to show ads by city or region and building awareness of their brand in the main locations they service. They're also creating separate campaigns for smartphones and tablets, so however their customers search, they'll find Schwan's quickly and easily.
