What it is

Call extensions help generate calls for your business by showing a phone number next to your full ad on Google search. Choose to show a toll-free Google forwarding number with your ads and you’ll get detailed reporting on calls generated by your campaign right in AdWords. When a prospective customer calls the forwarding number, AdWords notes the call took place and forwards it to your business. For certain completed calls, a $1 USD fee is charged to your account (details). When you log into AdWords, you'll see the number of calls you received and other details including call duration and the caller's area code. Get summaries at the campaign and ad group level, or review and download call-by-call reports.
