Haunted holidayBoo! Are you ready for Halloween? Goblins and ghosts are coming out to play and so are your customers. Halloween is part of a larger spending season that can boost your fall sales even if you don’t sell any spooky products. According to the National Retail Federation, Halloween is the second-largest decorating holiday in the U.S. [1] To find those terrifying trimmings, consumers are searching the web. In August 2006, Halloween costumes was one of the top three search terms that drove traffic to shopping and classifieds websites.[2] And, Halloween keyword searches are already up over 39 percent compared to the same time last year.[3] In this issue of the AdWords Retail Industry Newsletter, you’ll find tips to help you prepare your campaigns for the Halloween holiday season.
