A webinar is a free online seminar that you participate in via the web. It is a live presentation from AdWords experts. You may need headphones if you're in an open office.
You click on the sign up link next to the webinar you wish to attend and then register through the Webex site. You will need to use the email address associated with your AdWords account in order to sign up.
Most importantly, you will need a computer with an internet connection, speakers or earphones and meet the following minimum system criteria.
Webex uses VoIP technology so you don’t need to ‘dial in’ through a phone line but you do need functioning speakers/ earphones.
You won’t need a microphone but you will be able to talk with specialists using chat.
You should check that your speakers are working and if you have separate speakers, you should make sure they’re properly connected. Also, when the presentation starts, there should be a pop up window asking you if you want to participate in the VoIP conference, please click ‘yes’ to this. If you select ‘no’ or if you have selected ‘Teleconference’ you won’t be able to hear the presenter.
If you can hear us but the presenter’s voice is breaking up, your internet connection may be too slow.
We provide chat support online during the webinar. This means that there will be a chat window where you can type messages and send them instantly to our AdWords experts. We will answer them as quickly as possible before the end of the webinar.
The webinar will last approximately one hour including questions and answers.
