Satellite is an implementation technology for Google Analytics or any other analytics platform, Javascript-based technology, or 3rd party tracking tag. Use the simple web-based admin console to publish tagging changes immediately, without waiting for the IT department or code release cycles.
Satellite was made to empower marketers and analysts to get the data they want quickly and easily. When we started, tag management solutions went a long way in solving this problem, but they didn’t satisfy our standards for a soup-to-nuts implementation. They didn’t offer us the flexibility to customize every little aspect of tracking, and worse yet, they didn’t always work on highly complex sites. So we built Satellite.
With the installation of a single snippet of Javascript, you will get:
- Easy definition of Google Analytics page and event tags, plus custom variables
- Out-of-the-box event tracking, including downloads, email, off-site links plus clicks on dead images and headers
- Ability to fire any other third-party Javascript tags, like DART or AdWords
- Simple tool management via the web-based admin
Satellite also offers a plug-in that allows point-and-click definition of tagging requirements directly from a web browser.
This app doesn't access Google Analytics Data.
