Google Analytics for WordPress is first and foremost a plugin for WordPress that allows you to easily track loads of meta data about your site. From pageviews per author and category to 404's and loads of stuff inbetween.

If you have Wordpress and want to use Google Analytics: this is the plugin you should install. You can track so much more than when you use the regular GA tracking code, and all of that with some simple adjustable settings.

I've used many different Analytics plugins for my 20+ websites, but this one from Yoast is by far the best; functionality keeps on being added and it offers so many additional advantages (easy authenticate, customisable etc), that I've switched over every site to it.
