THAT’S WHO I’M

 

I'm someone

Walking the paths of life

In this minute

 

Planet earth

Breathing the air of freedom

In a place

 

Without name

I'm like you

You're like me

Thrust into a world full of stars

All exploding and burning

 

In a vision of hell

I’m a normal soul

Living a usual life

 

In an expanding universe

Filled up to the brim

With losers like me

Rain splatters on the windows

As my soul feels lonely

 

I chose a path

To take me to glory

 

But it failed

I’m at the mercy of intolerance

 

And the bad spirits

Who haunt me

 

Amidst the debris of time

And the end of reason
