Sell your items online – even if you don't have a website
Now Google Base makes it easier than ever to have your items displayed in our search results. Simply upload information about your items to Base; if you don't have a website, we'll create a free web page for your products, so it's easy for people to buy from you with Google Checkout, a new service that makes buying and selling across the web fast, convenient and secure.
Here's how to get started:
Sign in to Google Base by clicking on the "Sign In" link on the home page.
You'll need a Google Account to sign in; you can learn more about creating your account here.
Click on "Post an item," click the "Choose an existing item type" dropdown menu and select the "Products" item type.
You can also select "Vehicles" if you want to sell something like a car, truck or boat.
Describe your item by filling in the fields on the "Edit item" page.
Click 'edit' next to the Payment header and select the "Google Checkout" checkbox.
This tells Google Base that you want your hosted page to include a "Buy" button that allows customers to use Google Checkout to buy from you.
At
the bottom of the page, click the Publish button.
You'll be asked to
sign up for Google Checkout. If you don't want to include your bank account information immediately, that's okay; you can provide this information later
You'll receive an email notification when someone buys your item.
Log back into Google Base and process the order from your "Order inbox."
