Hi Everybody,

Just wanted you to know that we appreciated your prayers... Our 1st "real" Summer of Hope potluck meeting was a wonderful time of fellowship, prayer, and the beginning of planning for the upcoming months. And the kids had an equally good time, I believe! :) A special treat was the delicious Filipino food which Filipina Marelyn Burns brought!

You're invited and encouraged to come to our next Summer of Hope meeting. We decided to choose a different day since we know that for some of you, Fridays are impossible. So......

Please come to the Summer of Hope meeting
next Sunday, March 25, at 2:00 p.m.
at our home at 11380 W. Rader Ct., Boise.
Depending on the weather, it's possible we may walk over to the playground at DeMeyer Park, which is next to our home, so the kids can play there. So dress for the weather, and bring water and a snack for your kids if you want to.

Come to meet some really wonderful people, enjoy a time of prayer,
and help us start organizing the big fundraiser
to bring the children from the Philippines to Boise in July:
The Hope Walk on June 2nd.

There will be lots of ways you can help: publicity and media, contacting businesses and others for prize donations and financial support, forming and encouraging new teams, prayer, organizing the big picnic finale, spreading the word about Summer of Hope and the Hope Walk, etc., etc.! Please pray about how the Lord wants you to be involved in providing a Summer of Hope for Filipino orphans.

From Eagle Road, turn east on McMillan. Go through the light at Cloverdale, and make the 1st left into DeMeyer Park subdivision (on a little street called "Lena"). Make an immediate right and follow the curves as the street changes names, as though you are starting at the bottom of an "S." Continue straight ahead at the top of the "S" and you'll run into our house at the end of the cul de saq. 11380 W. Rader Ct. 672-8560.

From Five Mile, turn west on McMillan going 4/10 mile (you'll see Guardian Angels Academy on your left). Turn right on Shamrock into DeMeyer Park subdivision. Make an immediate left, and follow the biggest curve possible, as though you are starting at the bottom of a "C." Our house is at the far end of the cul de saq. 11380 W. Rader Ct. 672-8560.
