"FATHER AND SON RELATIONSHIPS: THE LOVE AND THE FIRE"

Topic Overview:
All of us have fathers; some of us were raised by them, and some of us were not. Whatever the situation may have been, we have all been impacted by them. We will look at the depth of our relationships and talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly. As we do this we will look for opportunities to purge our pain and even look for opportunities to forgive ourselves and/or our fathers. Some of us are also fathers, and we will look at those relationships to see if any 'sins of the fathers' are being passed on to our sons.

In honor of father's day, which will be Sunday, June 21, 2009, it is an excellent time to reflect on our relationships with our fathers, and as fathers, because whether we are aware of it or not, we carry memories, thoughts, attitudes and lessons learned directly or indirectly from them.
