This two-part genealogy workshop is offered in collaboration with the Rhode Island Jewish Historical Association. The first session includes an overview of RIJHA resources and a live demonstration of online resources for teasing out the details of your family in the U.S. and in the Old Country. The second session focuses on RIHS resources and leaves time for hands-on research under the guidance of staff and workshop leaders. Presenters include Barbara Carroll, who has been doing genealogical research since 1986, and Dr. George M. Goodwin, co-editor of "The Jews of Rhode Island" and editor of "Rhode Island Jewish Historical Notes.” $15 per session for RIHS and RIJHA members, and $20 for non-members.
