D3 with Kate Bornstein: Conversations with a Gender Outlaw

Kate Bornstein is an author, playwright, and performance artist who has worked on issues of gender, sex, and sexuality for years. Bornstein, a male-to-female transsexual, examines the complexity of gender identity and sexual orientation, rejecting a simplistic binary of male/female, gay/straight.

All undergraduates are invited to join this lively, informal conversation over dinner.

To RSVP and for more information, contact Dr. Rose Corrigan (rose.corrigan@drexel.edu). Space is limited for all D3 events so please RSVP.

D3 highlights the interdisciplinary nature of the College of Arts and Sciences, serving as a forum in which students from all majors are invited to meet and discuss a chosen topic of current interest. Events are organized by faculty members teaching complimentary courses, and usually include a brief performance, film screening, panel discussion or lecture, followed by an informal discussion and DINNER!
