Topic Overview: How much attention are you giving to HIV when you meet someone? Is HIV the only concern, or should we be thinking about the consequences of our choices as it relates to other sexually transmitted infections? Why do I even have to be concerned?
These are only a few questions that you may ask yourself when you hear about HIV. It is important for all of us to be knowledgeable about HIV, whether you are infected or affected by it. We will look at our thoughts and attitudes about HIV, and see how that impacts and drives the decisions and choices that we make in a particular situation, and over time.
We will have an opportunity to dialogue with a panel of individuals who will lead this discussion and dialogue, and help to make this a night to remember. They are, Jeffrey Campbell, Amber David, Drake Williams and Tim'm West.
In addition to gaining valuable informaiton that will allow us the opportunity to make more informed decisions, we will be looking at sexual behaviors and the varied levels of risks, in addition to learning how to protect ourselves. There will be valuable information that will be discussed to help those that are HIV- to stay that way, and to help those that are HIV+ to remain healthy.
If you haven't been to TMG in a while, this is a meeting you don't want to miss. If you have been attending, this is a time you might want to invite a friend to join you.
We'll see you Saturday.
