Come to this all day genealogy event. Meet and speak with representatives from various genealogical and historical organizations. Attend classes for the beginners and experienced genealogists alike.
Registration table opens at 9 a.m.
Morning Session Meet & Great 10 a.m. to Noon
Our morning session consists of short presentations by representatives of several
genealogical & historical organizations such as the Ohio Historical Society, Daughters
of the American Revolution, Sons of the American Revolution, Franklin County
Genealogical & Historical Society, and the Family History Center. After the
presentations you'll have an opportunity to meet with them and see how they might be
able to assist you in your genealogical endeavors.
Afternoon Workshops
There will be several workshops in the afternoon for the beginner and experienced
genealogist.
First Session 1 - 2:30 p.m.
-Genealogy for Beginners
-African American Genealogy
-Religious Records and Roots
-Genealogy on the Net/Digital Resources
Second Session 3 - 4:30 p.m.
-Finding Public Records in Ohio Court Houses
-Palatines to America Collection: New, Rare and Other Important Sources for
Researching Your German Roots
-Putting the Clues Together: Learning More About Your Family Photographs
-CML's Genealogy Collection
