Walk your own marionette out of the workshop in Grassington, North Yorks after a stimulating but intensive period of carving and marionette manipulation. Very cheap accommodation sometimes available.

31 October- You will be sent some simple advance preparation to do with visualising the puppet, designing and measuring it prior to carving.
1 Nov. Making the hand-control. Tutorial- marionette operating class. Making head and hands (start)
2 - Completing head and hands. Carving legs and feet. Operating class.
3 Completing legs and feet. Chestpiece, neck, arms. Operating class.
4 Attaching all the bits and finishing-possible costuming.
5 as above and stringing-late evening-
6 Puppet-operating and the walk of triumph!
