Course topics include:
* A variety of building techniques including cob, wattle and daub, slipstraw, and how to integrate them with each other
* How to determine what techniques and materials are appropriate for each situation
* Passive solar design & site analysis
* Alternative foundations & materials
* Sustainable plasters and paints
* Energy efficient design
* Recycled and non-toxic materials
Participants will gain hands-on experience by helping to build our intern village at the Solar Living Center.
