Use the secondary selection: SecondarySelection. With it, you can mark some
text without moving point. So if you want to copy a word from elsewhere in the text
Option-drag (left): use to draw up a secondary selection (which is not overwritten
by typing). You will be able to copy the selected text with Shift-Command-C.
