	9/19/08 GTA NYC 2008! The Google Teacher Academy is coming back to take a bite out of the biggest teacher's apple. Applications are now open for our next GTA on Tuesday, November 18th. Learn more and apply by October 10th.

	8/18/08 The November elections are hot and the Internet is playing a starring role in helping voters get informed and engaged. Check out Elections Tools for Teachers for ideas on how you can incorporate all of Google's free elections tools into your teaching about the process, and enroll your students in the 2008 National Mock Election.
	8/8/08 GTA CHICAGO! The Google Teacher Academy is making its way to the Windy City. Midwestern (...and Southern, West and East Coast) teachers may apply now for our next GTA on September 24th, 2008! Learn more about the academy and apply by August 24th. Applications now closed.
	8/8/08 Your students may be too young to vote for the next President. However, they can still express the issues that matter the most to them to their peers, teachers, and to the world. Get them involved in Letters to the Next President -- a writing and publishing opportunity co-sponsored by Google and the National Writing Project. Students will write and publish a persuasive letter addressed to the next U.S. President using Google Docs. Registration closed September 12, 2008.
	8/5/08 In this U.S. election year, search through the spoken material of presidential candidate speeches to analyze positions and issues with Google Elections Video Search.
