Internet at Liberty 2012: Promoting Progress and Freedom

Internet at Liberty 2012, sponsored by Google, brought together global activists and representatives of academic centers, corporations, governments, the media and NGOs. The conference explored creative ways to expand the free flow of information online through debates and skill-building workshops.

On this website you can find videos, photos, presentations and transcripts from the Internet at Liberty 2012 workshops, debates and lightning round. Highlights include the launch of the YouTube Human Rights Channel in partnership with the human rights group, WITNESS and Storyful, as well as an invitation for feedback on Google's PageSpeed project.
