News Corp is facing its first phone hacking case in the US, after a lawsuit from Angelina Jolie's former stunt double opened up a new front in the litigation against the owner of The Sun and the now closed News of the World.

The lawsuit also names as defendants News Corp. entities News International Ltd. and News Group Newspapers Ltd., and unidentified private investigators and journalists.
