Kadant Inc. (NYSE:KAI) target was lowered by Roth Capital after the company reported Q2 revenue which did not reach expectations. The firm keeps an Outperform rating on the stock due to valuation.

General Cable Corp. reported lower sales and profits for its second quarter that ended in June, but things aren't quite that simple.

During trading today, the Technology sector (XLK) showed little change while the S&P 500 fell 0.7%. The ETF, as a proxy for the sector, tracked farther from the overall market today than over the past week.
