iShares Russell Microcap Index Fund, seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the Russell Microcap Index (the Index). The Index measures the microcap sector of the United States equity market. The Index is a float-adjusted capitalization-weighted index and includes equity securities issued by issuers with total market capitalizations ranging from approximately $50 million to $550 million, though these amounts may change from time to time. The Index represents approximately 3% of the market capitalization of listed United States equity securities. The Fund invests in a representative sample of securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index. It invests in a range of sectors, such as financial, health care, technology, producer discretionary, energy and utilities. The Fund�s investment advisor is BlackRock Fund Advisors.
