Pringle of Scotland is one company that really has stuck to its knitting, but has changed its stylings to suit the times. The clothier has represented the quintessentially Scottish apparel for nearly two centuries, contributing to the world of fashion high-end woolens and the ubiquitous twinset. During the past decade, Pringle of Scotland has piqued the attention of celebrities by rebranding itself to serve the international luxury market. Its products can be found at showrooms in London and Tokyo, as well as through high end retailers in Europe, Asia, and the US. The company was spun off from Dawson International in 2000 and sold to Hong Kong-based Fang Brothers Knitting Ltd., which is owned by Kenneth Fang.
