Renco Group is a holding company for a diverse group of businesses. Its AM General subsidiary (a joint venture with Ronald Perelman's MacAndrews & Forbes Holdings) makes the HUMVEE, an extra-wide, all-terrain vehicle used by the military. Other Renco Group companies include Doe Run, which is engaged in metals mining, smelting, recycling, and fabrication; Unarco Material Handling, which makes pallet racks and systems for warehouses; Inteva Products, which manufactures systems for the automotive industry; and US Magnesium, the largest primary magnesium producer in North America. Renco Group is owned by billionaire Ira Rennert.
