Opel may be into saloons and boots, but it ain't no cowboy. Saloons are the British equivalent of sedans (four-door passenger cars with front and back seats) with boots (rear trunks). General Motors Ireland (dba Opel Ireland), a division of GM, is responsible for marketing the company's saloons in Ireland, as well as providing fleet sales and leasing. The company offers passenger and commercial vehicles and has unveiled a line of performance vehicles. Models include the Astra, the mini Agila, Corsa, Insignia (replacing the Vectra), and Zafira; commercial vehicles include the Astravan, Corsavan, Movano, and Vivaro. Opel Ireland has around 40 dealers and sells approximately 20,000 cars per year in Ireland.
