Tennova Healthcare (formerly Mercy Health Partners Tennessee) helps with the health care of Eastern Tennesseans. The system serves communities in and around Knoxville, Tennessee. It operates six acute-care and specialty hospital campuses with 800 beds, including Physicians Regional Medical Center (formerly Mercy Medical Center St. Mary's), LaFollette Medical Center (formerly St. Mary's Medical Center of Campbell County), and Jefferson Memorial Hospital (St. Mary's Jefferson Memorial Hospital). In addition, the system offers hospice, assisted living, and rehabilitation services. Formerly a subsidiary of Catholic Healthcare Partners (CHP), the system was acquired by Health Management Associates (HMA) in 2011.
