Sirius America Insurance (formerly White Mountains Reinsurance Company of America) helps insurers throughout North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean to manage risk effectively. The firm, which is owned by White Mountains Insurance Group and is part of that company's Sirius Group global reinsurance business, underwrites treaty and facultative reinsurance for multi-line property/casualty insurers. It also provides reinsurance to health insurers and writes some international non-marine business. Sirius America Insurance operates offices in Miami, New York, and Toronto.
