Arise Virtual Solutions provides outsourced call center services from a virtual call center. Customer support calls, e-mail, and Web chats are routed to its 20,000 remote customer service agents who work from their homes. It also handles sales and technical support issues. Arise Virtual Solutions provides the underlying technology as well as training and administration of its virtual workforce; clients have included AAA Clubs, Home Depot, Carnival Cruise Lines, Shop Direct Group, and Time. The "virtual call center" was founded in 1997 as Willow CSN Incorporated and changed its name in 2007.
