Clairol is big on hair care -- mostly focused on covering up the gray and helping to keep non-blondes blond. A unit of consumer products behemoth Procter & Gamble, P&G-Clairol specializes in making and marketing hair-coloring products, hair spray, shampoo, conditioner, and hair-styling items. Some of its brands include Nice 'n Easy, Hydrience, Natural Instincts, and Perfect Lights. Besides all-over color, the beauty company also sells highlighting products for touches of hair color. Clairol markets its products in the US, Australia, Canada, and the UK. One of P&G's larger acquisitions (behind Gillette), P&G-Clairol is part of its beauty segment, which generated 24% of revenue in 2011.
