The partnership, a member of the international Big Four accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers International, provides a range of accounting, audit, and advisory services mainly to UK-based clients in such industries as financial services, entertainment, and technology. PwC UK, which has about 40 offices throughout the British Isles, could argue that it is the "original" PricewaterhouseCoopers unit, since the firms that formed the international powerhouse in 1998, Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand, both cite London as their historical home.
