Spit-spot, spic and span: there's little difference between Procter & Gamble Holdings (U.K.) and supernanny Mary Poppins. The UK arm of Procter & Gamble (P&G) manufactures and markets of a slew of squeaky-clean products in England and Ireland. It sells cosmetics (including Max Factor and Olay brands); hair care products (Wella, Head & Shoulders, and Herbal Essences); personal care essentials (shaving brands Braun and Gillette, as well as feminine standby Tampax); cleansers and laundry labels (Ace, Ariel, Flash, and Fairy); and other family items, including Pampers diapers and Eukanuba dog food. P&G (U.K.) operates as part of its parent's Western European business, accounting for more than 15% of P&G's sales.
