EMC Computer Systems (UK) provides data storage systems. A regional unit of storage leader EMC, the company sells cloud-based storage systems, storage networking equipment, data management software, and applications for big data and content management. It also offers a wide range of consulting and support services. It markets to banks, manufacturers, Internet service providers, retailers, government agencies, universities, and other organizations that manage large amounts of data. EMC's UK-based customers have included British Airways, Marshalls, The Financial Times, Tesco, and the University of Leeds. Outside of the US, Europe is EMC's largest geographic market with $6.9 billion in revenue. In 2015, Dell Inc. agreed to buy EMC Corp. for $67 billion. The deal is pending.
