Holy Spirit Health tends to the health of the incarnate. The Holy Spirit Health System (HSHS) provides cardiology, women's health care, pediatric care, and other acute and emergency medical services to the residents of greater Harrisburg and Cumberland County in south-central Pennsylvania. HSHS was established in 1963 and is operated by the Sisters of Christian Charity. The flagship Holy Spirit Hospital has more than 330 beds as well as a level III neonatal intensive care unit. The hospital also operates an adjoining cardiac treatment facility, and it has a network of affiliated family practice and specialty health clinics.
