Holy Spirit Health tends to the health of the incarnate. The Holy Spirit Health System (HSHS) provides cardiology, women's health care, pediatric care, and other acute and emergency medical services to the residents of greater Harrisburg in south-central Pennsylvania. The flagship Holy Spirit Hospital has some 315 beds as well as a level III neonatal intensive care unit. The hospital also operates an adjoining cardiac treatment facility, and it has a network of affiliated family practice, urgent care, surgical, and specialty health clinics. HSHS was established in 1963 and is operated by the Sisters of Christian Charity.
