Colonial Metals isn't Paul Revere's company; it's a thoroughly up-to-date nonferrous metals smelting company. The company primarily produces brass and bronze ingots from purchased copper and from scrap and recycled materials. It recycles about 90 million pounds annually, producing more than 60 million pounds of brass and bronze ingots. Other products include specialty alloys (chrome-copper and nickel-based). Colonial Metals sells its products mainly to makers of defense, housing, and industrial equipment. The company handles all of its production at its Pennsylvania headquarters.
