The family-style steakhouse chains feature a menu with chicken and seafood dishes along with a variety of steak selections; the eateries are popular for their all-you-can-eat salad and soup bar. The restaurants are operated and franchised through Metromedia Steakhouses Co., which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2008. MRG is a division of Metromedia Company, a diversified holding company controlled by John Kluge.
