The company's applications include tools for customer prospect targeting, mining usable data from unstructured text, analyst data extraction and scoring, and advanced data modeling and analytics. Customers use the tools to enable direct, as well catalog and retail marketing. The company was founded in 1998 as Genalytics. Management bought out the company and changed the name to Semcasting in 2009.
