"Zip it!" may be an insult some places, but not at The University of Akron. The school, which has an enrollment of more than 28,000 students, plays collegiate sports as the Zips (Zippy the Kangaroo is its mascot). It offers more than 200 undergraduate majors and 100 master's degree programs, as well as certificate and associate degree programs, through a handful of schools and colleges. The University operates one branch campus, Wayne College in Orrville, Ohio, and four educational centers in Ohio: the Medina County University Center in Medina, the Holmes County Higher Education Center in Millersburg, UA Lakewood in Lakewood, and the Midpoint Campus Center in Brunswick.
