It offers treasury services (capital markets products, proprietary investments), merchant banking (commercial financing, financial advisory), and financial markets services (asset and fund management). Major customers include large corporations, and financial institutions with operations in the Persian Gulf region. In addition to branches in New York and the Saudi Arabian cities of Jeddah and Riyadh, the bank owns London-based Gulf International Bank (UK). The Public Investment Fund of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia owns GIB.
