It's no longer tacky to wear hot pink with orange in the UK. The wireless subsidiary of Germany's Deutsche Telekom teamed up in July 2010 with France Telecom's wireless brand, Orange, to form a 50:50 joint venture called Everything Everywhere. With T-Mobile (UK)'s 13 million subscribers and Orange's 17 million, Everything Everywhere is now the largest wireless provider in the UK. The brand T-Mobile isn't going anywhere; it still offers voice and data services, and subscribers benefit from the ability to access either T-Mobile's or Orange's wireless network for better coverage. T-Mobile (UK) sells its phones and plans both online and through about 300 retail shops throughout the UK.
