Its software also monitors security, determines how users access a company's website, and analyzes e-commerce functions. Webtrends' more than 3,500 customers come from a wide range of industries and include BMW, Barclays, Associated Press, and Microsoft. Webtrends also offers industry-specific versions of its software for such vertical markets as government, retail, financial services, media, and telecom. The company is owned by Francisco Partners.
