ABBYY's Lingvo translation software (Russian to nine languages, including Latin, and back again) is the most widely used dictionary software in Russia. The company has locations in Ukraine, the US, Cyprus, Japan, Germany, the UK, and Russia. Chairman David Yang founded BIT Software in 1989; it became ABBYY in 1997.
