MobiTV turns mobile phones into media centers. The company provides technology that allows television broadcasts and other media content to be delivered to mobile devices. Its subscribers can access content -- including on-demand and live television, as well as digital music and satellite services -- from ABC, CBS, NBC, ESPN and other networks. MobiTV offers its technology as a managed service; it also licenses the server technology to carriers. MobiTV counts Alltel, AT&T, and Sprint among its carrier partners. Other customers include broadband service providers, content providers, and handset manufacturers.
