INX knew the IT sector. The company primarily offered Cisco-based IT infrastructure services and related hardware and software to customers in the educational, governmental, and private sectors. Its services included network design, systems integration, consulting, IP telephony implementation, network security auditing, and data center virtualization. The company also sold, installed, and integrated network storage systems from EMC and NetApp and provides virtualization products from VMWare; those three partners accounted for 90% of INX's product revenue. INX was acquired by Presidio in 2011.
