Description

GulfMark Offshore, Inc., formerly New GulfMark Offshore, Inc., provides offshore marine services primarily to companies involved in the offshore exploration and production of oil and natural gas. The Company operates in three segments: the North Sea (N. Sea), Southeast Asia (SEA) and the Americas. Its vessels transport materials, supplies and personnel to offshore facilities, as well as move and position drilling structures. The majority of its operations are conducted in the North Sea, offshore Southeast Asia and offshore in the Americas. The Company also contract vessels into other regions to meet its customers� requirements. The Company operates a fleet of 91 offshore supply vessels (OSVs) in regions, such as 41 vessels in the North Sea, 15 vessels offshore Southeast Asia, and 35 vessels offshore the Americas. As of December 31, 2011, the Company operated a fleet of 91 vessels. Of these vessels, 73 are owned by the Company.
