Sweet success may come in a bottle -- at least at Sweet Leaf Tea it does. The firm, founded on the belief that nothing beats a glass of Southern-brewed sweet tea, offers organic ready-to-drink iced teas, as well as diet and fruit-flavored versions of its teas. Sweet Leaf bottles some 10,000 gallons of tea per day at a handful of production plants located in Central, West, Northeast, and Southwest parts of the US. The company's beverages are distributed to convenience stores, hotels, restaurants, and food retailers the likes of Kroger, Safeway, and Whole Foods. Founded in Beaumont, Texas, in 1998, Sweet Leaf was acquired by Nestl Waters North America (NWNA) in 2011.
