The Company operates in two divisions: nutraceutical and pharmaceutical. The nutraceutical business developes active ingredients for the market segments, such as dietary supplements (vitamin capsules and tablets), personal care (skin care products) and functional foods and beverages (nutritionally enhanced foods). The nutraceutical product portfolio includes Vital ET and Phospha E. Its pharmaceutical division is centred on drug delivery, which involves enhancing delivery of existing drugs orally or through the skin, and drug enhancement, which involves augmenting the biological activity of existing drugs by adding a phosphate group to the chemical structure of the drug. The Company has five products in various clinical development: transdermal insulin, topical retinoic acid, topical diclofenac, oral Phospha E and topical lidocaine.
