JPMorgan Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc is a United Kingdom-based investment trust. The Company’s business objective is to achieve capital growth from United Kingdom-listed small companies. The Company invests not more than 15% of its gross assets in other listed investment companies, including investment trusts. It invests in sectors, such as industrials, financials, consumer services, technology, consumer goods, healthcare, oil and gas, basic materials, utilities, telecommunications and liquidity fund. As of July 31, 2009, the Trust’s top 10 holdings were Intec, Spice, Delta, Galiform, International Personal Finance, Emerald Energy, Pace, Micro Focus, Pendragon and Southern Cross Healthcare. The Trust’s investment manager is JPMorgan Asset Management (UK) Limited.
