Jaiprakash Hydro-Power Limited (JHPL) is an India-based company engaged in generating hydro-power. The Company has invested in the equity share capital of a joint venture company (namely, Jaypee Powergrid Limited) with Power Grid Corporation of India Limited for developing a transmission system to evacuate power to be generated by 1000 megawatts Karcham Wangtoo Hydro Electric Project in Himachal Pradesh. The Company owns and operates the 300 megawatt Baspa-II Hydroelectric Project at District Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh.
